Bisazza participates in the 2009 London Design Festival within an installation designed by Jaime Hayon in the marvelous setting of Trafalgar Square
From September 19th to 27th 2009, on the occasion of the seventh edition of the LONDON DESIGN FESTIVAL, Bisazza will participate as a technical sponsor in “The Tournament”. The installation, designed by Jaime Hayon, will be situated in front of the National Gallery, in the marvelous setting of Trafalgar Square, in London.
The central component of the out-of-scale installation will be a vast chessboard of 160 square meters fully clad with Bisazza black and white glass mosaic. Two-metre high chess figures made in ceramic will be moved around according to the indications of the contestants on this extravagant chess game.

The interactive and entertaining scenography designed by Jaime Hayon reflects - through the chess game - the historic context of the battle of Trafalgar in a personal and definitely imaginative key.
Bisazza’s involvement in this event confirms once again the reciprocal interest and the strong relationship of the company with the Spanish designer who has signed installations, projects and decorative proposals for the Mosaic collection and Bisazza Home, a collection of furniture and decorative accessories for home interiors.
